Bnei Hasharon is interested in signing one of the best players in the last Turkish league, Joshua Sheep. The 24-year-old American forward averaged 18.8 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for Bornova, being one of the top scorers of the TBL in his first year as a professional.

Nimrod Tishman leaves Florida to play in Israel

One of the best Israeli prospects, Nimrod Tishman, has left the University of Florida after one year in the NCAA. The 19-year-old guard played only 7 games in his freshman season after being one of the best players of the last U19 European Championship, averaging 18.3 points and 4.0 rebounds. Tishman, who played in the youth teams of Maccabi Tel Aviv, wants to play in the Israeli Super League next season.

Tom Thibodeau will be the new coach of the Chicago Bulls

As expected, Tom Thibodeau was signed by the Chicago Bulls to a three-year contract to become the new head coach of the franchise. The current Boston Celtics assistant will replace Vinny del Negro, fired a month ago. The deal won't be official until the end of the Finals, because NBA rules do not allow the announcement of significant transactions like a trade or coaching hire during the event.

Ivan Déniz, new head coach of the Halcones de Xalapa

Ivan Déniz is back to the Mexican league. The Spanish coach, who has been in charge of the LEB Oro team Tenerife Rural and, most recently, the Venezuelan team Trotamundos de Carabobo, was signed by the Halcones de Xalapa. This will be the second stint of Déniz in Mexico after coaching the Soles de Mexicali from 2007 to 2009.

Coca-Cola Tigers sign John Williamson and release Rashad Bell

The Coca-Cola Tigers have signed John Williamson as the third import of the season, after James Penny and Rashad Bell, who was signed less than a month ago. The American 24-year-old forward has played this season in Poland for Znicz Jaroslaw (17.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game) before moving to Sweden to sign for Plannja Basket Lulea (23.4 points and 9.1 rebounds per game).

Energa Czarni signs Zbigniew Bialek

Energa Czarni has signed Zbigniew Bialek. The Polish 27-year-old forward is back to the team based in Slupsk, after playing there between 2001 and 2004. Bialek, who played in the 2004 Summer League with the Los Angeles Lakers, averaged 12.0 points and 6.2 rebounds last season with PGB Basket Poznan.

Neven Spahija would consider to become an NBA assistant

Neven Spahija is still undecided about his future after leaving Power Electronics Valencia a couple of weeks ago. The Croatian coach is reported to have offers from several European clubs (like Efes Pilsen or Fenerbahce), but is also considering another choice: moving to the United States to become an assistant for a NBA team. Spahija also said he wouldn't mind to be back to Valencia in a couple of years.

Regal Barcelona could have signed Nemanja Bjelica

According to Eurohopes, Nemanja Bjelica could have signed a contract with Regal Barcelona. The Spanish club hasn't decided yet if Bjelica would join the ACB team or would be loaned to his current team, Red Star. Barcelona was already reported to be behind the 22-year-old forward about two months ago. Bjelica is averaging 18.7 points and 7.2 rebounds in the Serbian Super League.

Unics Kazan is reported to be interested in several guards for the next season. Monty Williams will be the new coach of the New Orleans Hornets

The New Orleans Hornets will sign Monty Williams to a three-year contract to be the new head coach of the NBA franchise. Alfonso Sánchez, Paulo Prestes and Rai López won't play for Unicaja next season

Unicaja sent three players on loan last season around the ACB league: Alfonso Sánchez (Xacobeo Blu:Sens), Paulo Prestes (CB Murcia) and Rai López (Lagun Aro GBC). None of them will make the Unicaja roster next season, as the Spanish club has decided. Sánchez won't be extended and will become a free agent, while Prestes and López could be sent on loan again.

Tibor Pleiss wants to play in an Euroleague team before moving to the NBA

Tibor Pleiss, one of the most interesting German prospects, wants to play next season in the Euroleague, and could have already offers from important clubs. The 20-year-old center, projected as a lottery pick for the 2011 draft, would move later to the NBA. Ricky Rubio, planning to go to the NBA in 2011

Ricky Rubio told in an interview he won't leave his current team, Regal Barcelona, at least until 2011, ruling out any chance of moving to the NBA next summer. Rubio, drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves last year with the 5th pick, considers that he will fit in the NBA whenever he decides to play there. According to "Star Tribune", Rubio intends to exercise a $1.4 million opt-our clause to play in the NBA before the 2011-12 season.

Unión Formosa signs Nicolás Aguirre
