Rio Grande Valley Vipers acquire Sean Barnette

D-League franchise Rio Grande Valley Vipers will fill the void left by recently called up Antonio Anderson, new Oklahoma City Thunder player, with forward Sean Barnette. Rookie player started the season with Iowa Energy, averaging 7.0 points and 2.6 rebounds in 25 games.

Oklahoma City Thunder sign Antonio Anderson, waive Matt Harpring

As expected, Oklahoma City Thunder signed for 10-day contract guard Antonio Anderson, who was called up from D-League franchise Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Anderson averaged 15.5 points, 5.9 assists and 4 rebounds in 39 games played with the Vipers. Thunder also waived veteran forward Matt Harpring, acquired months ago from Utah Jazz via trade, who's seriously injured and could announce his retirement soon.

Krka has signed guard Nikola Ivanovic, who was playing for the last two moths with Hopsi Polzela and averaging 7.8 points per game in 8 games. His replacement in Polzela will be Matej Venta, who curiously was playing for Krka before being released by Novo Mesto club in January.

Washington Wizards sign Mike Harris

Washington Wizards signed forward Mike Harris for a 10-day contract, as the replacement of recently acquired and injured Josh Howard. Harris was called up by the Wizards from Rio Grande Valley Vipers, in the D-League. Guard Von Wafer is officially a new member of the Dallas Mavericks. The NBA franchise signed Wafer to a 10-day contract, after a brief and successful try-out. Wafer is back to the NBA after moving to Olympiakos last summer. His experience with the Greek team ended a couple of months ago, and was a free agent since then.

Movements in Spanish LEB Oro team Servindustria Tarragona 2017. Guards Tarick Johnson and Xavi López part ways with Catalan club. Houston Rockets recall again Jermaine Taylor

Jermaine Taylor is back to the Rockets after being recalled by Houston from D-League affiliated team Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Rookie guard played two games for the Vipers after being assigned there, averaging 15.5 points in 4.5 rebounds. In his first stint in the D-League, Taylor averaged 19.7 points and 4.2 rebounds in 6 games before being recalled by the Rockets for the first time.

Real Madrid wants Tiago Splitter the next season

Brazilian center Tiago Splitter is one of the best players in Europe right now, and Ettore Messina wants him to play for Real Madrid next season. Splitter is currently playing for Caja Laboral, and is also rumored to leave Spain to sign for San Antonio Spurs, the NBA franchise which own his rights.

New York Knicks, close to waive Eddy Curry

New York Knicks are planning to buy-out center Eddy Curry's contract, to make salary cap room this summer. Curry is not an important piece of Mike D'Antoni rotaton, and could end his Knicks career soon. This movement would make New York to save between $1 and $2 million.

Rouen has signed a replacement for Aerick Sanders, who will be out for the rest of the season due to a knee injury. French team signed Nigerian center Deji Akindele, back to the LNB after playing for Pau-Orthez in 2007-08 season. Last season, Akindele played for Scavolini, in Italia, and haven't played any official game this one because of right meniscus problem. Limoges signs Kevin Braswell, Frederic Weis could be the next

Limoges have found a replacement for recently released guard Brent Darby. The French team signed American guard Kevin Braswell for the rest of the season. Braswell played until the last week for New Zealand Breakers, in the Australian NBL. The next goal for Limoges is to sign veteran center Frederic Weis, already training with the team.

Dragen Anzulovic, close to become the new Poland NT coach

Drazen Anzulovic will discuss today with Polish Basketball Federation leaders his signing as the new Poland national team coach. 42-year-old former Cibona player is without a team after the failure of the last coach he coached, BC Donetsk.
