Albuquerque Thunderbirds add Sasha Cuic

D-League franchise Albuquerque Thunderbirds have announced the addition of Croatian forward Aleksander "Sasha" Cuic to the roster. T-Birds also waived forward Kevin Pittsnogle due to personal reasons. Cuic was without a team after being released a couple of weeks ago by Los Angeles D-Fenders.

Cedric Jackson, back to the D-League after two 10-day contracts with Cavaliers

Erie BayHawks have re-acquired guard Cedric Jackson, who left the team after a call-up from Cleveland Cavaliers. Jackson signed back-to-back 10 days contract with the NBA franchise due to Delonte West and Mo Williams injuries, but wasn't re-signed for the rest of the season. 23-year-old player was averaging 14.7 points and 7.6 assists per game with the BayHawks before the Cavs call-up

Kepez releases coach Tab Baldwin

Turkish team Kepez Belediyespor has decided to change his coach and part ways with Tab Baldwin. 51-year-old head coach was in Kepez since September 2009, and he's especially known for coaching New Zealand NT between 2001 and 2006. Unicaja wants Quincy Douby to replace Juan Dixon

American guard Quincy Douby, currently playing in Turkey for Darufassaka, is the first choice for Unicaja to replace suspended Juan Dixon. Douby is the league-leading scorer in TBL, while his team is in the last place of the Turkish competition. 25-year-old player arrived to Turkey in November, after being waived by Toronto Raptors.

Chicago Bulls sign Chris Richard to a second 10-day contract

Forward Chris Richard will stay in Chicago Bulls 10 more days, after extending his contract with the NBA franchise. Richard has averaged 2.0 points and 5.7 rebounds in 17.3 minutes per game in three appearances with Chicago. Richard arrived to the Windy City after two weeks with Tulsa 66ers.

Knicks and Rockets closing a deal that would bring Tracy McGrady to New York

Houston Rockets and New York Knicks are reaching an agreement (without Washington) to a trade, involving Tracy McGrady. Houston would send T-Mac, Joey Dorsey and Brian Cook, and 2011 first-round pick to New York in exchange of Jared Jeffries, Jordan Hill, either Al Harrington or Larry Hughes, 2012 first-round pick and maybe 2010 second-round pick. The completion of the deal is not inminent, but sources are confident that the trade will be done.
