Kasib Powell leaves Trikala 2000

American forward Kasib Powell left his current team, Trikala 2000, due to the financial crisis the Greek club is suffering. Former Miami Heat player and D-League MVP is rumoured to sign for a Russian team soon.

Peristeri to release Spencer Nelson and sign a shooting guard

After last Peristeri defeat against Panionios, the Greek team is considering to make some changes in the roster. American forward Spencer Nelson is likely to leave the team because of his poor performances, while the club is already looking for a shooting guard in the market to improve the backcourt.

Palencia Baloncesto and Mickael Dickerson part ways

Michael Dickerson hasn't extend his contract with Spanish LEB Oro team Palencia Baloncesto, and is now a free agent. Dickerson was at the end of his one-month contract, and didn't agree with the team to a new contract for the rest of the season. According to the team, Dickerson demands were too high for the club.

Houston Rockets consider again to sign Von Wafer

Von Wafer believes he's fully recovered of his disc problems that foiled his signing with Houston Rockets. Memphis Grizzlies were interested in him, but Rockets, his last NBA team, are evaluating the idea of adding Wafer. American guard started the season with Greek team Olympiakos, but was released because of his bad relationship with the coach Panagiotis Yannakis

Antoine Walker in talks with Beijing Ducks

Chinese team Beijing Ducks are in talks with former NBA All-Star Antoine Walker to sign the American forward. Walker is a free agent since being waived by the Grizzlies last season, and has had several legal problems since then. The former Celtics and Heat player will be the second All-Star in China after Stephon Marbury, who is already training with his new team, Shanxi Zhongyou. Beijing Ducks also tried to land Melvin Ely days ago


Goettingen add Antoine Jordan

German club BG Goettingen has a new player. American guard Antoine Jordan, who played last year for Matrixx Magix Nijmegen in Holland, was signed by the German team to replace injured Taj Finger. Jordan played his first three minutes with Goettingen in the victory against Paderborn last Saturday in the BBL.


Trefl Sopot tabs Georgi Tsintsadze

Another released player from already disbanded Ukrainian team BC Donetsk has found a new destination. Polish team Trefl Sopot signed Georgian guard Georgi Tsintsadze. Sopot will be the third team Tsintsade plays for this year, after starting the season in Trikala 2000, before leaving to Donetsk.

Pinar Karsiyaka add veteran guard Corey Brewer

35-year-old Corey Brower is still on the game. Turkish team Pinar Karsiyaka signed him as a replacement of injured guard David Holston. Brewer is an expert player with years in experience in Europe, but Karsiyaka will be his first team in Turkey. Last year, Brewer ended the season in Estudiantes.

Rudupis sign Evaldas Dainys

A month after being released from Lietuvos Rytas, Evaldas Dainys has a new team. Rudupis have signed the Lithuanian guard, who will have a new chance after failing in having an important role in Rytas. In his first game against Techasas in the BBL Challenge Cup Dainys only could score 1 point in 13 minutes.
