Miami Heat sign Patrick Beverley to a two-year, $1.2 million contract

Patrick Beverley will continue his career in the NBA. Despite the interest of Olympiakos (his team last year) and Maroussi to bring him back to Greece, the 22-year-old guard was signed to a two-year, $1.2 million contract by the Miami Heat. Beverley, who averaged 2.7 points and 1.9 rebounds per game in the last Euroleague for Olympiakos, was selected with the 42nd overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers, and then traded to the Heat.
