Charlotte Bobcats and Tyrus Thomas agree to a five-year, $40 million deal

The Charlotte Bobcats and Tyrus Thomas have reached to a five-year, $40 million agreement. The 23-year-old forward will continue in the Bobcats, where he landed last February via trade, despite the interest of the New Jersey Nets in signing him. Last season, Thomas averaged 8.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
