Maccabi Tel Aviv could have signed Oleksiy Pecherov to a two-year contract

Okeksyi Pecherov could be close to leave the NBA to play next season for Maccabi Tel Aviv. The 24-year-old Ukrainian center is at the end of his contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and could have signed a two-year contract with the Israeli team, turning down an offer from Lottomatica Roma. Last season, Pecherov averaged 4.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in the NBA. Maccabi could be also interested in Jeremy Richardson, from Aris Thessaloniki as the previous target of Maccabi, Drew Nicholas, is close to resign with Panathinaikos.
