Daniel Strauch retires

Daniel Strauch has decided to retire from professional basketball due to severe problems with his Achilles tendon. The 29-year-old German forward was playing for EWE Baskets Oldenburg since 2003. Strauch only played 14 games in the last BBL and 3 in the Euroleague this season, averaging 2.1 points and 1.7 rebounds in the German league.
