Piratas de Quebradillas release Damon Jones, and try to sign Marcus Williams, from Memphis Grizzlies

Former NBA player Damon Jones is no longer member of the Piratas de Quebradillas, after the Puerto Rican team decided to release the American guard. Since being signed a couple of weeks ago, Jones averaged 10.7 points and 3.3 assists in 4 games. The new target of the Piratas is the current Memphis Grizzlies guard Marcus Williams, who already played there last season. Williams would have to reach an agreement with the Grizzlies to buy out his contract, expiring next July to land again in Puerto Rico. The second option for the Piratas de Quebradillas is the Australian guard C.J. Bruton, recently playing for the New Zealand Breakers.
